Our Story

2018

The Beginning

Byermangev was founded by Kwame Nyantakyi, a former banking executive who recognized the need for practical financial education tailored to everyday Ghanaians.

2019

First Courses

Launched our first two courses focused on personal budgeting and savings strategies, reaching 500 students across Kumasi and Accra.

2020

Digital Transformation

Expanded to digital course delivery in response to the global pandemic, making our education accessible nationwide.

2022

Curriculum Expansion

Developed specialized courses for entrepreneurs and expanded our team of financial coaches to meet growing demand.

2024

Today

Now serving over 5,000 students with a comprehensive curriculum covering personal finance, investment, business management, and digital financial tools.

Ama Owusu

Founder & CEO

With 15+ years in banking and finance, Ama founded Byermangev to make financial education accessible to everyday Ghanaians. She holds an MBA from University of Ghana and previously worked at Standard Chartered Bank.

Team member 2

Abena Mensah

Chief Financial Education Officer

Abena develops our curriculum and educational methodology. She has a PhD in Education from Cape Coast University and specializes in adult financial education. Previously a lecturer at KNUST.

Kofi Boateng

Head of Investment Education

Kofi brings 12 years of investment analysis experience to our courses on wealth building. He holds a CFA certification and previously managed portfolios at Ghana Commercial Bank's investment division.

Maame Addo

Entrepreneurship Coach

A successful entrepreneur herself, Maame has founded three businesses in Ghana. She leads our courses on business financial management and helps small business owners navigate growth challenges.
